who is she?

Oh, hey! Didn't see you there. My name is Shai, like chai. Unlike the tea, though, I'm a comedian and performance artist currently studying at Northwestern University.

I've been doing stand-up since I was sixteen: I was a semifinalist at the NYC Queer Comedy Festival in 2023, and I direct and host some of the best-attended shows on campus. Additionally, I am a third-year member of The Titanic Players, Northwestern's premiere long-form improv group. I perform monthly on and off campus with my team, Dirt Birth. But wait! There's more! I'm also a member and future Co-Director of Mee-Ow Comedy, America's longest-running improv and sketch revue (notable alumni include Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Seth Meyers, and Kristen Schaal.)
